I officiate weddings because I believe in marriage! Despite my bad Fort Lauderdale mullet, the former Ms. Jackie Doubleskey made me the happiest man in the world when she said, “I do” on April 27, 1991. Today, we are still happily married, the proud parents of two sons, and the deliriously happy grandparents of two little girls.

When I’m not serving as a wedding officiant here in North Georgia, you can find me teaching scuba diving as a PADI Open Water Instructor. Jackie and I also own a retail business (the Deaf Man Vinyl record store) in historic downtown Blue Ridge. So, music, scuba and weddings are my passion!

Pastor Alejandro’s journey to becoming a pastor grew out of a deep sense of calling and a desire to serve God and others. Over time, what began as a personal faith developed into a commitment to walk with people through life’s most meaningful moments. Through prayer, study, and faithful service, he recognized a particular calling to stand with couples as they begin their covenant of marriage.

Pastor Alejandro’s heart for weddings is rooted in a belief that marriage is both sacred and joyful — a reflection of love, faithfulness, and God’s grace. As a pastor, he finds great purpose in guiding couples as they prepare their vows, blessing their union, and helping them build a foundation grounded in faith, commitment and enduring love.

Pastor Alejandro is able to serve couples with bilingual ceremonies or ceremonies entirely in Spanish. (Además, el pastor Alejandro puede servir a las parejas con ceremonias bilingües o ceremonias íntegramente en español.)
